The Shalom House is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization serving Boone County, Indiana, with a mission to inspire and nurture the community by sharing meals and encouragement. Dedicated to addressing local hunger and building a sense of connection, the Shalom House operates two key programs. The Shalom Hot Meals Program provides carry-out hot meals every Tuesday and Saturday, with delivery options for homebound residents. Additionally, the Shalom Kids' Sack Lunch Program offers nutritious sack lunches during school breaks to ensure children have access to meals when school is not in session.
